Hosting the Startup Grind

It was a pleasure to host the latest Start Up grind event in Luxembourg where I interviewed James Monnat, CEO of Mason Bower and owner of the Foundry which is increasingly becoming known as the most creative business ecosystem in the Grand Duchy.

As a group we brainstormed on why so many startups fail and in addition to the frequently quoted reasons of lack of capital, partnership splits and poor timing, James was able to clarify the 6 process stages of taking an ida to market.

I found it especially useful to be reminded that instead of rushing into creating marketing materials it is smart to be clear on your strategy, target market, your business value and which business model will optimise revenue.

I look forward to attending the next grind well organised by Steve Glangé
